Duties

1)  Represent the organization with dignity and impartiality

2)  Attend local events, including Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies, Blue Star Mothers conventions, etc

3) Preside at chapter meetings, board and committee meetings, etc

4)  Be knowledgeable in the history and by-laws

5)  Appoint non-elected officers and committee chairs

6)  Respond to member questions, inquiries from other organization, media, etc

7)  Work with the Chapter Executive Board and the Finance Committee to maintain financial income to support the various programs and projects

Please let the president know of any problems or questions you may have

about our Chapter in particular, or Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. in

general.  She is also available for presentations to organizations who may be
